Sunday Sketches-Graceful Girl

Hi everyone,

Hope you are all okay out there. I'm decidedly sniffy although I can't believe hay fever season is starting this early!

I'm linking up today with Sunday Sketches with a girl drawn using a Stabilo black pencil....love these things.

Stabilo pencil, Neocolors II, Paperartsy stamp and a spritz of Decoart Media Mister, Tim Holtz sentiment.

Thought you'd also like to see what happens when you return with new crafty supplies and apparently didn't get the exact stamp set/shade of paint that was asked for......now there's a look of disapproval ha ha.

Our sponsors for this challenge are

For my creation I used a recycled piece of wood and a genuine rusty vintage nail for the butterfly's body, having been inspired by our lovely Ingrid's logo for the blog of course ;)

Mindy Lacefield Girl

Hi everyone,

I'm joining in with Sunday Sketches today with a painting in the style of Mindy Lacefield. Well I say style, it's the closest I could get though it was only my second attempt so please be kind!
I found it such a hard style to attempt as it's completely different to how I normally draw my faces but there's something I'm really drawn to in her artwork.

Bockingford Water colour paper, Neocolors II

I'll be back later as it's the second Sunday in the month it's MMW time ;)
